Zoe´s circus showreal

Showreal for Berlin based tattoo artist

I was quite happy, when Zoe came up to me, asking, if I could do an new showreal for her studio. She was looking for a crashing presentation of her artwork, showing in her studio and for online presence. She wanted to differ from mainstream tattoo artists and remind people passing by, that she is, always was, always will be a strong and talented artists with professional and traditional tattoo skills. Her thoughts on the look and feel: 80ies punk rock style, a touch of memphis design, a bit trashy. Arse kickin´ female power included. Well, I never did film editing before. But I really. wanted to do it and so I startet directly with Premiere Pro.

The main task was to create a movie clip out of nothing. As the only footage we had were the tattoo pics in more or less good quality. So this movie became a trashy collage of licence free vintage black an wihite footage and own designed pop art vector elements tp build surprising surraounding according to the tattoo work. It was so much fun! I loved it!
